What to know
Can I book my own hotel? Not from beyond 60 miles (checked 2026-10-23): CAN/AM states that out of town teams more than 60 miles from Lake Tahoe must reserve rooms and stay at one of its authorized hotels. The event runs Fri Nov 20 to Sun Nov 22, 2026, with games at the South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena and the Tahoe Blue Event Center.
Teams within 60 miles pay the Local Team Fee of $2,350 per team. The CAN/AM Lake Tahoe event plays its games at the South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena, 1176 Rufus Allen Blvd. in South Lake Tahoe, and the Tahoe Blue Event Center, 75 U.S. 50 in Stateline, Nevada, so the hotels below are near those two rinks.
Out of town families pay per person through the CAN/AM site: $399 on the California and Caesars packages and $375 on Harrah's, double occupancy, with hotel, tournament and gate fees included. The Out of Town Package tab prints a 20 room night minimum for out of town teams (more than 60 miles away) and charges "$50 per room night short." It says rates are valid "until 60 days prior to the event," which is a rate cutoff, and that uninsured reservations are non-refundable.
Divisions run 10U, 12U and 14U at A and B. Every team is guaranteed four games, with play starting Friday at 8:00 AM. The California and Caesars packages include one ECHL game ticket and a meal (Knight Monsters home games on Nov 21 and 22). Hotel parking and Tahoe Blue Event Center parking are not included, and one adult is required per room.
