What to know

Yes. Perfect Game marks the Wood Bat World Series "Event Lodging Required", checked 2026-10-23. Contact hotels-pastime@perfectgame.org for hotel questions.

On room nights, the event box says "24 Minimum Room Nights required to be compliant" and the FAQ says "you must book an average of 8 rooms per night for the duration of the event". The host does not link the two figures, so ask which one applies to your team.

This is the wood bat event: the page lists "Wood Bat Only" for both 15/16U and 17/18U. They play Thursday July 22 to Sunday July 25, 2027, one week after the KU World Series, for 1595 USD per team and 4 games.

The page names Hoglund Ballpark, 1545 Allen Fieldhouse Dr in Lawrence, as the featured field, and also shows "+1 Locations" that the host leaves unnamed as of 2026-10-23, so not every game is confirmed at Hoglund. Quality Inn & Suites is the nearest hotel to Hoglund at 4 minutes.
