What to know

Yes. The 2027 PG Michigan Eastside Summer Showdown page, checked 2026-10-25, calls Perfect Game's lodging policy required at 16 minimum room nights. For teams traveling more than 100 miles, that means EventConnect or the waiver fee; the nearest hotel on our list is 8 minutes from the field.

Per Perfect Game's Lodging Policy page, teams more than 100 miles away book through EventConnect or pay a Hotel Waiver Fee, while teams within 100 miles are exempt. The formula is $200 times the days minus one, so $400 for this 3-day weekend. We calculated that figure; the page does not print it.

Showdown weekend is Friday June 11 to Sunday June 13, 2027, at Lombardo Park, 11695 22 Mile Rd, Shelby Township. It runs AAA and AA brackets from 9U to 14U plus 8U AA, one week after the June Jamboree on the same fields.

Entry is $450 for 8U AA and $625 for 14U AA, plus a $250 team gate fee, with 3 games guaranteed. Hyatt Place Detroit/Utica is 8 minutes away and Courtyard Detroit Utica is 9.
