What to know
NHR State Tournament, May 28 to 30, 2027. Boys 10U-17U, $550 per team, 4 games guaranteed. The host page names Shakopee, but it lists four gyms: Shakopee High School, Maple Grove Junior High, Hopkins High School and Hoop Habits in Eden Prairie.
Lodging wording on the page: teams "can book their hotels through Prep Network's SaveAndPlay", and those traveling 90+ miles "will be required to book a minimum of 8 reservations for the weekend". No fee or opt-out step is mentioned.
The housing policy says non-marquee SaveAndPlay is optional with no distance rules. The event is not on the marquee list. That mismatch is why we mark it unclear.
Gyms are spread over the western Twin Cities, so pick the hotel after you see your schedule. Asteria Inn is 1 minute from Maple Grove Junior High and Holiday Inn Express is 1 minute from Hoop Habits. Hopkins is 6 minutes from Marriott Minneapolis West. Eight rooms for 2 nights is 16 room-nights, our calculation.
