What to know
Texas State Tournament, May 28 to 30, 2027, Friday through Sunday. Boys 10U-17U, $550 per team, 4 games guaranteed. The host lists the location as Farmers Branch, but the gym is Children's Health StarCenter Multisport, 13850 Chadwick Pkwy, Northlake.
The page offers SaveAndPlay with the words "can book their hotels through Prep Network's SaveAndPlay" and then adds a 90+ mile line: teams "will be required to book a minimum of 8 reservations for the weekend". It stops there, with no penalty or opt-out form named.
The policy doc calls SaveAndPlay optional for non-marquee events and lists no Texas event as marquee. The two sources do not match, so the status here is unclear until the host clarifies.
Do not search Farmers Branch for hotels, since Northlake is the gym. Five hotels in our list sit 3 minutes away, including Motel 6, Home2 Suites and Holiday Inn Express. Two nights covers the Sunday finish, which is 16 room-nights for 8 rooms, our calculation.
