The housing rule
Teams may select any hotel, but only Chase on the Lake supports Walker Youth Hockey through a marketing agreement
Read the rule on the official site. We checked this on Oct 14, 2026.
What to know
City on the Bay runs three weekends: Squirt B/B2 Dec 11 to 13, Peewee B/B2 Jan 8 to 10, and Bantam B/B2 Jan 22 to 24. B1 teams are not allowed. The Peewee heading says Jan 8-11 but its email link says Jan 8-10, so we used Jan 10.
Entry is $1,550 including gate fee, or $1,500 if your association attended a Walker tournament in 2025-26. The page lists a four game format. When we checked, Peewee and Bantam were full with wait lists, and Squirt B2 had one slot open after a cancellation.
The rules say teams may select any hotel. Chase on the Lake is the only one with a marketing agreement with Walker Youth Hockey, and the page says stays there benefit the club. The page also lists Country Inn, Walker Hotel, Northern Lights Casino and Horseshoe Bay Lodge.
Games are at the Walker Area Community Center on Tower Avenue East, which the host says has a seasonal ice arena.
