The housing rule
In order to keep registration fees low, we will require all traveling teams to reserve rooms via the FMCVB Housing Bureau. All room reservations must be made through the FMCVB Online Housing System
Read the rule on the official site. We checked this on Oct 14, 2026.
What to know
The MN VFW Invitational runs Jan 28 to 31, 2027 for Bantam AA, Bantam A and Girls 15UA. The host says it is Minnesota teams only, with 8 teams per level at $2,000 and an intent-to-participate application to email in.
On Oct 14 the table showed 3 spots open in Bantam AA, 1 in Bantam A and 4 in Girls 15UA. The banquet for players and coaches is Thursday Jan 28 at the Armory Event Center in Moorhead, $35 a ticket.
The rules say all traveling teams must book rooms through the FMCVB Housing Bureau (set up by email from EventConnect after registration). Rooms booked straight with a hotel do not get the tournament rate and do not count toward the team's commitment.
The host's page does not name the rinks for this event. The general MYHA page puts games at the Cullen Hockey Center, with the Moorhead Sports Center as the backup.
