Team deposit: "A non-refundable $500 deposit"; if the team paid it, "it can be returned to the team 30 days after tournament participation" (5% service fee on card refunds); if a team cancels, "all deposits related to that team's registration will be forfeited." What to know
Short answer: no, if you live more than 60 miles away (checked 2026-10-23). CAN/AM requires out of town teams beyond 60 miles of Pittsburgh to reserve rooms at one of its authorized hotels. Dates are Sat Jan 16 to Mon Jan 18, 2027; the games are at the RMU Island Sports Center on Neville Island.
Teams within 60 miles pay the Local Team Fee of $2,425 per team. The CAN/AM Pittsburgh event plays all games at the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center, 7600 Grand Ave. on Neville Island, Pittsburgh, so the hotels below are the ones near that rink.
