What to know
Michigan State Tournament runs Friday May 28 through Sunday May 30, 2027 at Hype - Dearborn, 23302 W Warren Ave, Dearborn Heights. Boys 10U-17U pay $550 per team for 4 games. Saturday play starts at 8 AM.
On lodging the page reads: teams "can book their hotels through Prep Network's SaveAndPlay", and teams over 90+ miles "will be required to book a minimum of 8 reservations for the weekend". No deadline is given.
Prep Network's policy puts non-marquee events at optional, and the Michigan event is not in the marquee list. We cannot reconcile the two, so the status is unclear.
Travelers Motor Inn is the nearest at 5 minutes and 2.3 miles, then Hilltop Motel at 7 minutes. Check room counts early, since 8 rooms for 2 nights is 16 room-nights, our calculation.
