What to know
Triple Crown Fastpitch lists the Sunshine Classic for February 12 to 15, 2027, in the St. Petersburg area, for 10u to 18u softball teams. Pool play starts Saturday, February 13, and Monday, February 15 is championship day.
The event page says teams are not officially entered until three items are met. One is the line "Minimum of 18 room nights with a Triple Crown Lodging Partner", alongside the paid entry fee and a digital roster.
Games are spread over four fields: Woodlawn Park and Walter Fuller Park in St. Petersburg, plus Sprowls Horizon Turf Complex and Helen Howarth Park in Pinellas Park. The event page does not say which division plays where, so hotel drive times here are measured to each field's own address. Sprowls Horizon hosts the Friday opening party and charges a $10 gate fee.
Entry runs from $950 to $1,475 by division, with a deadline of January 22, 2027. The event runs alongside the D1 NFCA Leadoff Classic.
