What to know
Battle in the Sunflower runs April 2 to 4, 2027, Friday through Sunday, at AdventHealth Bluhawk Sports Park, which the host lists at 7951 W 160th St in Overland Park, KS 66223. Entry is $550 per team with 4 games guaranteed for girls 10U-17U.
Here is the catch on lodging. The page says teams "can book their hotels through Prep Network's SaveAndPlay" and that teams traveling more than 90+ miles "will be required to book a minimum of 8 reservations for the weekend." Prep Network's housing policy says SaveAndPlay is optional for non-marquee events, with no distance rules.
The event is outside the policy's marquee list, so we do not call it required. Our hotel list is built around the Bluhawk sports park, whose own site gives a Shawnee Dr address, so confirm your field with the host.
Plan on 2 nights at the minimum, our calculation. Six listed hotels sit 9 minutes away by car, including Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Overland Park and My Place Hotel.
