Park by park

Here is what the official pages said on Oct 17, 2026. Event counts are what each park lists for 2027, including week-long events.

Park 2027 events Housing rule quote Source Checked
Aberdeen, MD 34, Mar 12 to Aug 29 "Events at The Ripken Experience do not have stay-to-play requirements." FAQ Oct 17, 2026
Pigeon Forge, TN 20, Mar 13 to Aug 13 "you choose to stay where you're most comfortable" Week-long page Oct 17, 2026
Myrtle Beach, SC 16, Feb 13 to Aug 13 "No Event Required Lodging" Week-long page Oct 17, 2026

Our records mark all three parks as Book Anywhere. That is our label for events with no required hotel.

What does the Ripken FAQ say?

The FAQ, checked Oct 17, 2026, says: "Events at The Ripken Experience do not have stay-to-play requirements." That is the same sentence behind every Ripken record we hold for these three parks.

The same FAQ has a different line for another location: "Our partners at Sports Force Parks Sandusky do have stay-to-play requirements." That sentence names a partner location, not these three parks.

The FAQ also covers spring training. The FAQ answers a spring training lodging question for both parks. For Myrtle Beach it says "Spring Training requires a 3-night minimum stay." For Pigeon Forge it says "Lodging is not picked during your registration process." We did not check spring training events, so we say nothing more about them here.

What does Aberdeen say about lodging?

Aberdeen offers help booking, and the FAQ sets no requirement. Its tournaments page, checked Oct 17, 2026, says the park "has a dedicated on-site Travel Concierge Manager ready to help you book with one of our hotel partners at the lowest available rates."

The page also lists "Discounted Lodging Rates" among the package items. It says "exclusive prices apply to the NEW Great Wolf Lodge Maryland, just 7 miles from The Ripken Experience." We did not compare those rates with any hotel's own price, so we make no claim about savings. The FAQ line above is the rule.

Aberdeen lists 34 events for 2027, from Leadoff on Mar 12 to 14 through Slugfest on Aug 27 to 29. Weekend tournaments post $2,150 per event. Classics post $2,895 and knockouts post $3,350.

What does Pigeon Forge say about lodging?

Pigeon Forge says families pick their own rooms, per its week-long page checked Oct 17, 2026. The page says: "This is your family vacation, so you choose to stay where you're most comfortable" followed by "no restrictions." It also lists "No Event Required Lodging."

The lodging page says: "Starting in 2026, The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge has a dedicated on-site Travel Concierge Manager who has been working with local hotel and cabin rental partners to curate the best available rates for you, your family and your team." It lists 844-421-4210, ext. 4.

The tournaments page lists 10 weekend events from Mar 13 to Jun 4, at $1,445 to $2,395. The week-long page lists 10 weeks from Jun 6 to Aug 13 at $675 per participant. That page lists 12/8 as the expiry for that price and 13 as the minimum number of participants.

What does Myrtle Beach say about lodging?

Myrtle Beach says families choose where to stay, per its week-long page checked Oct 17, 2026. The page uses the same "family vacation" sentence as Pigeon Forge and lists "No Event Required Lodging" among the package items.

We found no travel concierge or discounted lodging mention on the Myrtle Beach pages we read. That is an absence on those pages, not a statement from the park.

The tournaments page lists 7 events from Feb 13 to May 31. Weekend events post $1,395, and the two Classics post $1,850. The week-long page lists 9 weeks from Jun 13 to Aug 13 at $575 to $600 per participant.

How many TourneyTrip pages cover each park?

As of Oct 17, 2026, TourneyTrip has live pages for 9 Aberdeen, 15 Pigeon Forge and 16 Myrtle Beach events in 2027. Each park also has one overview page. Our pages use the Book Anywhere label and a Housing Fairness score.

We have not yet published the other 25 Aberdeen events or the other 5 Pigeon Forge events. Start with these:

What should a parent still check?

Ask your team contact whether the team plans to use the concierge, since the pages do not require it. Weekend prices are the host's event prices as listed. We found no per-player breakdown for them.

Dates and prices can change. Check the live event page before you book a room.
