What to know
Mountain Magic #1 runs June 11 to 13, 2027, for 8u to 14u in D1 and D2. It is a 4 game guarantee in pool play, and about 40% of each division reaches Sunday bracket play.
Games are spread over several fields up and down the Yampa Valley, in Steamboat Springs, Hayden and Craig. The host recommends lodging in Steamboat Springs and day trips to the outlying fields. Hotel drive times here are measured to Howelsen Hill Complex, the first field listed.
The host calls this a stay to play event and points to a lodging policy PDF. That PDF is the 2026 version and sets 18 room nights, a 75 mile local exemption and a $1,000 surcharge to book elsewhere. No 2027 version is posted yet.
The page asks Colorado teams to play one earlier local Triple Crown event first. Out of state teams are told to call the event contact before paying.
