Las Vegas Youth Tournaments 2026-27: 10 of 11 Require Hotel

As of Oct 29, 2026, 10 of the 11 live Las Vegas area youth tournaments in our records list a hotel requirement. One hockey regional prints no hotel rule, and none say book anywhere. Where a local exemption is printed, it runs 60 to 100 miles.

Updated Nov 2026. Every rule below is quoted from the host's own page, and each event page was re-opened on Oct 29, 2026 to confirm the dates. Rules change, so read the live page before you pay a hotel anything.

"Las Vegas area" here means Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson. Reno events are not included.

Which Las Vegas youth tournaments require the hotel?

10 of 11, or 91 percent, as of Oct 29, 2026. We count 10 as hotel required, 0 as Book Anywhere and 1 as unclear.

What does the Majestic Park event say?

The PGF Las Vegas Qualifier runs Nov 7 to 8, 2026 at Majestic Park, 3997 North Hualapai Way, and the page was checked Oct 29, 2026. It says teams "MUST book your rooms prior to the dead line OR submit buyout payment."

The opt-out is "a non-negotiable $750 buy-out fee," and buy-outs "MUST be received two weeks prior to tournament date." A team short of the 8 room, 2 night minimum is charged $93.75 per room short. The page prints no local-team exemption.

What does the Perfect Game rule say in Las Vegas?

Four Perfect Game events in Las Vegas carry the same lodging line. The Baseball Bash (Apr 10 to 11, 2027) and Baseball for Autism (Apr 24 to 25, 2027) were checked Oct 25, 2026, and both say "Perfect Game Lodging Policy is required for this event" at 8 minimum room nights.

The two May events were checked Oct 29, 2026, and both print the same line. The May Vegas Championship (May 8 to 9, 2027) lists 8 minimum room nights on its 8U page. The Memorial Day Classic (May 29 to 31, 2027) is 3 days and lists 16 minimum room nights on its 8U page.

Per Perfect Game's Lodging Policy (record only, not on the Bash and Autism event pages), teams within 100 miles of the host venue are "considered local and are exempt." Teams past 100 miles book through EventConnect or pay the Hotel Waiver Fee, "(number of tournament days - 1) x $200." For a 2-day event that works out to $200 by our arithmetic, and for the 3-day Memorial Day Classic it works out to $400 by our arithmetic, not printed prices.

The Bash adds a second line: "Non-local teams are required to have 50% of their team stay in one of our approved lodging partners." Both May 8U pages carry the same banner line. The pages do not say how the two lines relate.

Games for the Bash are split between Cheyenne Sports Complex and Big League Dreams Park. The May Vegas Championship lists the same two venues, and the Memorial Day Classic adds Arroyo Grande Sports Complex in Henderson, where its 8U, 9U and 10U levels play.

What does Best of the West say?

Best of the West is an invite only event in Henderson, Apr 23 to 25, 2027, and the page was checked Oct 15, 2026. It says: "This event is Stay To Play: 21 room nights (7 rooms for 3 nights) or an $1000 buyout is required to participate."

Our record of the 2027 Triple Crown lodging policy says local teams within 80 miles are exempt. Games are spread over five Henderson fields, so we measured hotel drive times to Anthem Hills, the first field listed.

What do the CAN/AM and Red Rock Rave pages say?

CAN/AM's Las Vegas event runs Dec 18 to 20, 2026 at City National Arena, and the page was checked Oct 23, 2026. Teams within 60 miles pay a $2,350 Local Team Fee. Out of town teams "more than 60 miles from Las Vegas" must stay at an authorized hotel, with a 20 room night minimum and "$50 per room night short."

Red Rock Rave is a three-event series from SCVA, checked Oct 15 and Oct 19, 2026. Each team must keep 6 rooms per night for the whole tournament, and a shortfall costs $100 per unbooked room per night. All three pages add that teams book through KC Sports Housing and "not through the hotel or other third-party sites." We found no local-team exemption on any of the three.

Which weekends overlap?

Apr 23 to 25, 2027 has two Las Vegas area events starting the same day: Red Rock Rave 3 at Mandalay Bay and Best of the West in Henderson. Apr 24 adds the PG Baseball for Autism. Apr 16 to 18 has Rave 2 alone.

Four Perfect Game baseball events run Apr 10, Apr 24, May 8 and May 29, and all four list Big League Dreams Park as a venue. The first three fall two weeks apart.

How far is the nearest listed hotel from each venue?

Drive times in our venue records run from 1 minute to 11 minutes for the nearest listed hotel, checked Oct 15 to Oct 29, 2026. These come from OpenStreetMap listings, not host-approved lists. A host rule may still send you to a different hotel.

At Majestic Park, Hampton and Home2 Suites are also 10 minutes away, each about 5 miles. Our hotels near Majestic Park Las Vegas page lists all 12.

What about the Silver Stick regional?

The one unclear event is the 21st annual Silver Stick Las Vegas Regional, Nov 26 to 29, 2026, for 12U to 18U AA hockey. The page, checked Oct 29, 2026, posts no entry fee, no team count and no hotel page.
