Perfect Game Room Night Minimums for 2027: What 23 Events Ask Teams to Book

As of Oct 23, 2026, 21 of the 23 other Perfect Game baseball events on our list post a minimum room-night number: 8, 24 or 32. In our dated data, the number lines up with how many days the event runs.

Rules change, so read the live page before you book. Nothing here is a ruling on your team, and Perfect Game decides how a team is counted.

Which Perfect Game events post a room-night minimum?

Eleven post 32, three post 24 and seven post 8, as of Oct 23, 2026. We re-read every host page on that date. The nine WWBA, BCS and 10U opener events are in a separate post, so they are not repeated here.

The Penalty column reads "None printed" because the event pages print no penalty text as of Oct 23, 2026. That does not mean no penalty exists. The table is sorted by minimum, then by date.

Note on the 13U Premier World Series: the page header lists Sanford, FL, while its event text says games are played at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex in Auburndale, FL. We list both venues on our page.

Two draft records, the Peach State Shootout and the North Florida Super Regional NIT, are not live on our site yet, so they are left out.

What does the rule say?

On 21 pages the Lodging Policy block reads the same, as of Oct 23, 2026, and only the number changes. The page prints three lines: "Event Lodging Required", "Perfect Game Lodging Policy is required for this event" and "32 Minimum Room Nights required to be compliant".

The block then gives a contact: "For more hotel information, contact PGhousing@eventconnect.io". The 13U Premier World Series page is one example. (host page, checked Oct 23, 2026)

The block does not define a room night. The FAQ lower on each page is the closest definition we found: "you must book an average of 8 rooms per night for the duration of the event." (FAQ on the Rig D'huile page, checked Oct 23, 2026)

How do the numbers compare?

In our dated data as of Oct 23, 2026, the minimum lines up with event length. All 11 events at 32 run 5 days, all 3 at 24 run 4 days and all 7 at 8 run 3 days, based on the dates each host page prints. This is a pattern in the pages we read, not a Perfect Game rule.

The 5-day group is the June and July 13U to 17U set: the National Elite, Premier World Series and BCS events at Hoover, Sanford, Auburndale and Fort Myers. The 4-day group is the Presidents Day Classic (Feb 12 to 15), the Florida World Series (Jun 17 to 20) and the Sanford Invitational (Jul 23 to 26). The 3-day group is the winter and spring events, plus the Maryland qualifier.

We did not find Perfect Game stating how the FAQ's "average of 8 rooms per night" turns into 8, 24 or 32. On a 3-day event the posted 8 and the FAQ's 8 are the same figure, which can read as different rules. Ask EventConnect which one applies.

Two BCS events in the earlier post fit the same pattern. The 17-18U BCS runs Jun 25 to 28 and posts 24, and the 16U BCS runs Jun 29 to Jul 3 and posts 32 (17-18U page, 16U page, checked Oct 23, 2026).

Which two events print no policy block?

The Coastal Super Regional NIT (May 15 to 16, Pooler, GA) and the Rig D'huile Super Regional NIT (Apr 3 to 4, Westwego, LA) print no Lodging Policy block, as of Oct 23, 2026. The Coastal page has a Book Hotels link, and the Rig D'huile page has no hotel link.

The FAQ on both pages says:

"For any Perfect Game nationally run tournaments (red flag tournaments), it is mandatory to stay in a hotel provided by the PG housing partner. Any PG Affiliate run events, it is up to the directors of those tournaments to decide on housing."

The pages do not say which kind these two are. We list them as unclear. (host page, checked Oct 23, 2026)

What does Perfect Game print about penalties?

Nothing on the 23 event pages, as of Oct 23, 2026. The pages carry tabs named Lodging Policy and Lodging Policy Benefits, and those load by script. We did not read their contents, so a penalty or exemption could sit there.

The refund text we can read is on the same pages. The 13U Premier World Series page says: "NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AT ANYTIME AFTER PAYMENT. PERFECT GAME WILL HOLD A CREDIT TO A FUTURE EVENT IF NOTICE OF CANCELLATION IS GIVEN AT LEAST 3 WEEKS PRIOR."

Where would we stay?

As of Oct 23, 2026, each venue page ranks hotels by drive time, not commission. Open the one for your event: Hoover Met, JetBlue Park, BOOMBAH Sports Complex, Lake Myrtle, East Cobb, Pooler Recreation Complex, Cosca Regional Park, Northeast Regional Park or John Alario Jr. Sportsplex.

Several pages list more than one field complex, so check your pool's field before you book. A hotel on our list may or may not count toward your room nights. Confirm with Perfect Game housing first.

What should a parent check?

• Find the number for your event in the table and write it down with the date.
• Ask your manager who books the team's room nights and how they are counted.
• Open the Lodging Policy tab on the event page for any deadline, penalty or exemption.
• Ask EventConnect at PGhousing@eventconnect.io how the minimum is counted for your event.

Our Housing Fairness score treats a required hotel rule as a cost to weigh. The stay-to-play guide explains the term, and Book Anywhere shows events where you choose your hotel.
